Visual Arts and Animation: The Lizard

Back in lessons after the christmas break. I was feeling a little rusty but we started back with a Photoshop painting tutorial of a lizard creature. We used a new technique of applying actual textures to our drawings to add depth and detail, this is definitely a technique I'll be using from now on as it blends really nicely and creates a huge amount of visible detail that would have taken a long time to paint by hand. I'm really pleased with how this guy turned out, and whilst it's still a little unfinished in places, I'm ready to move on and start something new where I can employ this method and put it into practice.
